Job Posting – Facilities Caretaker/Custodian

The Presbyterian Church of Wyoming is looking to hire a Facilities Caretaker/Custodian. Below is the job description and contact information.  

The Facilities Caretaker is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the church facilities, in order to provide a physical environment suitable for the varied activities of the church’s organization, church related groups and “Lads and Lassies Pre-School”, including:

Cleaning and upkeep of public spaces, making minor repairs such as changing light bulbs and paint touch-up, managing supplies, watering plants and mowing grass as needed, attending to locking and unlocking building, and setting up rooms for meetings and events.

Ideally this would be a 40 hour a week position with hours occurring Tuesday through Friday during the day and Sunday mornings. On-call for building emergencies. Occasional special events. Would consider splitting hours/schedule between two candidates if candidates are interested in a part-time position. 

Physical requirements- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, walk facility with ease.

Background check and drug screening required for employment.

Partial benefits for full-time employment. $18 per hour.
